The first commercial plant, targeted for 2027, anchors on marine bunkering; because the output is pipeline-grade, grid injection scales from the same production platform as the fleet grows. Locally produced molecules diversify supply, hedge import exposure, and harden the network against price shocks and chokepoints.

Grid resilience is a portfolio problem. Every locally produced molecule reduces exposure to interstate pipeline constraints, import terminals, and price shocks that utilities cannot control. Because SNG meets pipeline specifications, it enters the network like any other supply source, with no blending limits, no equipment changes, and no customer-side impact.
